Kazakh Ministry of Health to increase efficiency of medical information systems
Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibut Yesenbayev together with the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bagdat Musin visited a number of health organizations in Nur-Sultan, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Health.
They familiarized with the functioning of information systems and the level of digitalization of the medical sphere. According to the Ministry of Health, the stage of creating the basic IT infrastructure of healthcare has been completed; medical information systems have been introduced, which have provided the technical basis for the introduction of Compulsory Social Health Insurance .
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan previously began this work together with the deputy corps and the Atameken NCE.
In the future, it is planned, together with Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, to continue the development of medical information systems and to revise business processes of work, which will include minimizing the actions of the doctor - that is, making him a consumer of medical information.
An important task is to ensure the revision of business processes to minimize the actions of doctors and to implement the principle "the doctor is the consumer of information, not its source".
Medical data should be used as many times as necessary, without the need for re-entry, that is, the implementation of the "datacentricity" approach should be ensured, and the data will "follow the patient" and not vice versa.
Thus, the volume of data entered into information systems in the field of health care by doctors will be revised, taking into account all stakeholders: the medical community, civil society and the state represented by the regulatory body.
