Young gymnasts from Kazakhstan won gold medal at the aesthetic group gymnastics competition held from November 26 to 30, 2025, in Samokov, Bulgaria. Among 610 athletes and 78 teams from 24 countries, the Kazakh girls ranked among the leaders, El.kz reports citing the Kazakhstan Federation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics.

Kazakh teams reaffirm their high level

Kazakhstan presented  five teams from Almaty, Shymkent, and Astana. Each team showed  strong, cohesive, and artistically refined routines.

Aesthetic group gymnastics is a discipline where the performance is built on synchrony, musicality, fluidity, and expressiveness of movement. It includes less acrobatics but places greater emphasis on artistry. Traditionally, the strongest schools have been Finland, Estonia, and US, but in recent years Kazakhstan has confidently joined the ranks of world favorites.

Strong performance at the IFAGG Trophy and Academic Cup

Ahead of the World Championship, Kazakh gymnasts achieved high results at major international competitions - the IFAGG Trophy and Academic Cup.

A total of 138 teams and about 1,000 athletes from 29 countries took part in the tournaments, while Kazakhstan was represented by teams from three cities.
