Kazakhstan’s Akzhol Kurmanbek, grabbed the gold at the Asian Youth Championship in Doha (Qatar), El.kz reports citing the National Olympic Committee.
Kazakh athlete competing in the men’s 73kg and lifted a total of 316 kilograms (141+175) in the "clean and jerk".
Boburmirzo Yokubov from Uzbekistan bagged silver with a total of 300 kilograms (136+164). Didarbek Jumabaev (Turkmenistan) won bronze with a total of 298 kilograms (127+171).
