A 41-year-old resident of Baizak District in the Zhambyl region known on TikTok by the username “Altyn qyz,” has been hospitalised at the Zhambyl Regional Mental Health Centre, El.kz reports.
According to law enforcement authorities, the woman had previously been held administratively liable on several occasions for using obscene language during livestreams. Despite official warnings and preventive measures, she continued to conduct livestreams containing profane and offensive language.
Police also stated that, during the livestreams, the woman made obscene remarks concerning her minor children.
Children are currently staying with their father
Following the incident, police officers, together with child protection authorities and other relevant services, inspected the children’s living conditions and the circumstances of their care and upbringing.
The minors are currently staying with their father.
According to the police, following the medical examination, she was referred to the Zhambyl Regional Mental Health Centre, where she is currently receiving treatment.
Monitoring of streamer content in Kazakhstan
The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to identify online publications and livestreams that contain violations of national legislation. According to the Ministry, over 20 streamers across the country have already been held legally accountable.
Earlier, in Abai Region, a 26-year-old woman was arrested following a TikTok livestream. According to police, during the broadcast she used obscene language, engaged in indecent behaviour, and stated that she had used narcotic substances.
In Zhambyl Region, the streamer’s children are currently with their father, while the woman is receiving treatment at a medical facility.
