In the second round, he beat Spain's Alvaro López San Martín. In the first set, Mikhail defeated his opponent - 6: 1, in the second game with a score of 6: 6, the Spaniard was injured and refused to continue the match.

For reaching the semifinals of the competition, the Kazakhstani will play with the Italian Matteo Arnaldi.
