On the eve of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, political consultations were held, El.kz news agency reports.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yermukhambeta Konuspayeva and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sodika Imomi.
The consultations discussed topical issues of Kazakh-Tajik cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment, water-energy, cultural-humanitarian spheres was discussed. The sides exchanged views on the interaction of the two countries within the framework of international and regional organizations.
The parties agreed to continue bilateral contacts in the spirit of friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership.
