Kazakh student teams to take part in Programming Olympiad in Egypt
Teams of the Kazakh-British Technical University, Astana IT University and the International University of Information Technologies have reached the final of the International Collegiate Programming Contest, which will be held in 2023 in Egypt, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In December, the Kazakh-British Technical University hosted the semi-final of the international team Olympiad "ICPC Northern Eurasia Finals - 2022-2023". 60 teams from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and the whole of Kazakhstan took part in the programming championship.
"The team from KBTU took the second place. The AITU team was awarded a second degree diploma. In November, the IITU student team took part in the ICPC World Finals 2022 Dhaka in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The IITU team consisting of Aibar Kuanyshbai, Batyrkhan Altynbekov and Dinmuhammed Shormankhan took 25th place and qualified for the final of 2023," the ministry said.
