Kazakh schoolchildren win 6 medals at Olympiad in Bangkok

6 medals were won by Kazakh schoolchildren at the International Science Olympiad in Bangkok. They entered the top three in the intellectual competition among juniors. Over 300 schoolchildren from 55 countries took part in the Olympiad. The Kazakh team was represented by two students from Pavlodar, El.kz reports with reference to 24KZ.

For Ivan Rudik, this international competition is not the first. Prior to that, he took part in all-Russian, international Olympiads and became a prize-winner. Such competitions are both experience and new acquaintances.

- We made friends with most of the guys. These are India, China, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and other countries. The secret to preparation? Probably, there is no such thing. It is necessary to prepare fruitfully. Study, then everything will be fine," says Ivan Rudik, a student of school-lyceum No. 8 for gifted children.

The main condition of the international competition is that each participant must study biology, physics, and chemistry in depth. Participants go through three rounds: test, theoretical and experimental. Schoolchildren and teachers have been preparing for months.
