Kazakh products enters UAE market
Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliyev held talks with Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the UAE Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi at the National Pavilion of Kazakhstan within the framework of EXPO-2020.
The meeting discussed trade, logistics and joint projects.
Particular attention was paid to Kazakh products, which are increasingly popular in the UAE. Kazakhstan is ready to supply organic agricultural products.
Arman Shakkaliev noted that for 10 months of 2024, lamb exports reached 13.3 thousand tons worth $45.3 million, which is twice as much as last year.
The Minister also emphasized the development of certification of products according to halal standards: since 2014, more than 1,800 companies have successfully passed certification, which confirms the compliance of Kazakhstani goods with international requirements.
Zhenis Oserbay , General Director of the QazTrade JSC presented the export potential of Kazakhstan and highlighted areas for strengthening its presence in the UAE market.
At the end of the meeting, a tasting of Kazakh goods took place. The high quality and taste of the products were highly appreciated by the participants of the event.
