Kazakh Prime Minister holds meeting on public outreach regarding draft new Constitution

Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting on explaining the draft new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the population. Members of the Government and akims of the regions took part in the meeting,El.kz cites primeminister.kz.
The Prime Minister instructed ministries and akimats at all levels to intensify comprehensive explanatory work with citizens regarding the draft new Constitution.
Special attention was given to combating fake information and disinformation. Provocative publications that do not correspond to reality are being recorded on social networks and in messaging applications. The Ministry of Internal Affairs was instructed to ensure strict legal response and accountability for the dissemination of false information in full compliance with the principle of “Law and Order.”
Overall coordination has been assigned to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva.
