Kazakh President talks over phone with Bahrain King

Discussing the situation in the Middle East with Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Kazakh President Kassym Jomart Tokayev expressed support and solidarity with the brotherly people of Bahrain during this challenging period, El.kz reports citing Aqorda.
The Head of State voiced concern over missile attacks on civilian infrastructure facilities in Bahrain and other countries not involved in the war against Iran.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan advocates de-escalation and a peaceful resolution of the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy.
For his part, Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa thanked the President of Kazakhstan for his consistent support and reaffirmed his country’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation, with a focus on trade, economic, and investment ties.
The interlocutors confirmed their commitment to enhancing Kazakh–Bahraini relations of friendship and partnership and wished the brotherly peoples of both countries peace, well-being, and prosperity during the holy month of Ramadan.
