Kazakh President holds meeting with leaders of parliamentary factions

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with the heads of factions of political parties of the Majilis, the lower chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, El.kz reports.

In accordance with Article 44 of the Constitution, the President should hold consultations with them on the candidacy of Olzhas Bektenov for the post of Prime Minister, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The discussion was attended by the leaders of the factions of the Amanat party Yelnur Beisenbayev, the People's Party of Kazakhstan Maharram Maharramov, the Ak Zhol party Azat Peruashev, the National Social Democratic Party Askhat Rakhimzhanov, the Auyl party Serik Yegizbayev, the Respublica party Aidarbek Khojanazarov.
