Olzhas Bektenov reviewed the development of the Kokshe Industry industrial zone in the city of Kokshetau, intended for projects in agricultural product processing, light industry, mechanical engineering, and the production of construction materials. New production facilities being implemented within the industrial zone were presented to the Prime Minister. Among them are a brick manufacturing plant of MM Brick LLP, an oilseed processing complex of Sodruzhestvo Kazakhstan LLP, a project for the construction of a Kazakhstan–China dry port (logistics terminal) by Kedentransservice JSC, and others.
Mayor of Kokshetau Anuar Kumpekeyev reported that the total area of the industrial zone is 600 hectares. Currently, projects worth 22.7 billion tenge are being implemented with the creation of 670 new jobs, with commissioning planned for 2026–2027. By 2030, it is planned to attract around 40 investment projects worth more than 520 billion tenge. The role of the industrial zone as a key platform for attracting investment and launching new production facilities was emphasized. At the same time, the need for advance development of engineering and transport infrastructure was noted.
At the site of Kazakhstan Agro Innovation Corporation LLP, the Prime Minister inspected the company’s production facilities for the manufacturing of agricultural and municipal machinery. The current operations and development plans of the plant were presented by General Director Oleg Balybin. According to the results of 2025, the enterprise produced more than 4 thousand units of equipment worth 65 billion tenge. The fourth stage of the production expansion project has been completed: investments of more than 3 billion tenge make it possible to increase output to 5 thousand units per year, create additional jobs, improve productivity, and strengthen cooperation with domestic suppliers.
At present, within the industrial zone a project is planned to expand production capacities for agricultural, specialized, and municipal machinery to 6 thousand units per year, with a total investment volume of up to 10 billion tenge. Currently, about 400 people are employed at the enterprise.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of accelerating the launch of industrial projects and increasing the level of localization in mechanical engineering.
