Kazakh PM Alikhan Smailov pays working visit to Uzbekistan
The 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan will be held in Tashkent, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It will discuss a wide range of issues of interstate relations, including:
- prospects for deepening industrial cooperation;
- interactions in agriculture;
- transit and transport sector and other areas.
The co-chair from the Kazakh side will be the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, from the Uzbek side - the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.
Alikhan Smailov's working visit to the capital of Uzbekistan began with a ceremony at the Independence Monument located in the Yangi Uzbekistan Park. It is crowned with the image of the Humo bird spreading its wings, symbolizing peace and freedom, goodness and well-being.
