A Kazakhstani woman working as a truck driver in the United States has published weekly income from various online platforms, El.kz reports.

The Truck and the Phone

Aigerim lives in the US and has been working as a truck driver for several years. Alongside her main job, she manages TikTok and Instagram accounts, testing various monetization methods and openly sharing what actually brings in money. In her latest video, she revealed the specific figures for each source of income for the first time.

Her audience on Russian-speaking TikTok is small, and her English-language account is still growing. This is exactly what makes her experiment interesting: she intentionally shows what happens at the starting stage rather than at the peak of fame.

Where the Money Comes From

The lowest earner was her US TikTok account for its trial videos, bringing in 37 dollars for the week. Live streams on her Russian-speaking account earned 53 dollars  from two sessions lasting about an hour each.

On US TikTok, the same live streams showed better results: $115 for two or three sessions. The difference is attributed to the fact that English-speaking audiences are more active in sending donations during streams.

A cashback app, which she uses for cafes and stores in her daily life, accumulated $183. Since the money could be withdrawn, she cashed it out.

Serious Earnings

The Amazon Influencer Program brought in $318 in a week. This is a program where content creators film video reviews of products directly on Amazon pages and receive a percentage of every purchase made through their review. Aigerim says she is currently undergoing training and considers this a promising direction.

UGC (User-Generated Content) platforms, where brands pay for short video reviews without requiring a high follower count, yielded $420. She is currently testing several such services and plans to narrow it down to three or four.

Reselling and TikTok Shop

Products she receives for free through UGC programs and the TikTok Shop are listed for sale if she doesn’t use them herself. This brought in $618 in a week, even though she hasn't had time to photograph and list all the items yet.

The Russian-language TikTok Shop earned $838 over the same period. This amount includes both the placement fees paid by shops for her videos and a commission on sales made through her recommendations.

An Unexpected Leader

The highest earner for the period starting June 1st was Instagram, bringing in about $900 through brand collaborations and advertising integrations. Notably, her account does not have mln of followers.

In total, she earned just over $3,400 in one week from seven different sources. This is not "passive income" in the traditional sense: every dollar requires filming, communicating with brands, hosting live streams, and packaging goods. However, this diversification model where no single channel is the sole source of income makes her earnings more stable.
