For five days, fighters of the Sunkar special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan in Dubai competed at the THE UAE SWAT Challenge tournament. This year, the Kazakh team took sixth place among 74 teams from 41 countries of the world, El.kz reports with reference to polisia.kz.
As part of the competition, special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs performed a variety of tactical tasks, including assault operations and rescue missions, aimed at testing their tactical skills, intellectual and physical endurance.
Kazakh fighters demonstrated a high level of professionalism, courage and unity in the fight for prizes. However, as is often the case in such competitions, there were injuries.
The team passed the first three stages of the competition successfully, taking prizes. But on the fourth stage, one of the fighters suffered a leg injury, but despite the pain, he continued to compete and even reached the finish line, thanks to the support of his teammates.
THE UAE SWAT Challenge is an unofficial world championship among special forces of law enforcement agencies and is called the "Olympics of special forces". The main goal of these competitions is to increase the competitiveness and efficiency of special forces units.
