The Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan hold meeting with deputy akims of 20 regions. It discussed the main tasks and prospects for the development of education, El.kz reports.

Gani Beisembayev stressed that education, as one of the key priorities of social policy, received significant support from the Head of State.

A number of measures are being implemented to address infrastructure issues, including the construction of new schools, the acquisition of modern subject classrooms, and the renovation of existing educational institutions.

"The priority task of education is to improve the quality of the process. For the first time, the concept of "Quality of Education" was legislated and a new model of the National System for Assessing the Quality of Education was formed. But, the key figure in education is the teacher and the successful future of the entire society depends on his professionalism. It is important that teachers work in favorable conditions, and for this, the regions must correctly implement laws on the ground. Particular attention should be paid to supporting teachers, whose innovation and creativity contribute to improving the quality of education and the well-being of our children," the minister said.

He once again drew attention to the fact that it is necessary to radically revise the attitude towards teachers and strengthen their role in society. Gani Beisembayev instructed to provide them with comprehensive support. This includes improving working conditions, improving skills and recognizing their work as a key factor in success in the training and education of students.

In addition, the regions need to strengthen their work within the framework of the 1000 Leaders of Change in Education program, protecting children's rights, improving the quality of education, catering, and interaction between schools and parents.
