Kazakh MFA opens accreditation of foreign journalists to cover early presidential election
The accreditation for representatives of foreign mass media wishing to cover the early election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, that will be held on November 20, 2022, is open now, El.kz cites MFA.
The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan wishes to note that foreign journalists may cover the election in Kazakhstan only with a permanent or temporary accreditation issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Please be advised that representatives of foreign mass media may be accompanied by one interpreter upon presentation of the identity card.
The applications for accreditation of foreign journalists must be submitted no later than November 14, 2022 at 06.00 pm by Astana time.
Documents required for accreditation:
- cover letter from an editor-in-chief requesting accreditation for journalist;
- copy of a valid passport of journalist;
- completed accreditation forms ( Form 1 and Form 2);
- 3x4 cm digital photo;
- brief biography of journalist;
- brief information about the media.
