Member of the Kazakhstan national team in Greco-Roman wrestling Demeu Zhadirayev reached the semifinals of the Paris Olympics, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the NOC.
He defeated two-time World champion Akzhol Makhmudov from Kyrgyzstan. Earlier, the Kazakh wrestler competed in the weight category of 77 kilograms and defeated Alexis Muñoz from Colombia in the first round.
