A Kazakh film"Citizens of the Roof" won two awards  at the prestigious Golden Lion Film Festival in India, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The film was recognized as the best international feature film and won in the category best directorial debut film.

In December 2024, the film "Citizens of the Roof" has been named a quarter finalist in the Oniros Film Awards in New York.
