The second competitive day of the World Boxing Championship was held in Tashkent. Within its framework, two Kazakh athletes reached the next round, El.kz reports with reference to the Olympic.kz.

In the afternoon session, Sagyndyk Togambay (up to 86 kilograms) defeated Nathan Mbeli of Congo ahead of schedule.

In the evening session, Sanatli Toltaev entered the ring (up to 63.5 kilograms). He also managed to achieve victory, defeating Ahmad Shtivi from Israel.
