Kazakh aviation inspector enters top 50 global talents in field of geospatial technologies

The international conference “World Geospatial Forum (GWF)” on digital geospatial solutions took place in Madrid, the capital of Spain, where a list of world talents in the field of geospatial technologies was announced according to the international expert community, El.kz citescaa.gov.kz.
Irina Khussainova, Head of Aviation Protected Zones Approvals Division, Chief Aviation Inspector of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan (AAK), was included in the TOP 50 global talents.
I. Khussainova spoke at the conference about the use of GIS technologies and how the Administration of Kazakhstan is implementing digital spatial data to assess obstacles near 25 civil aerodromes in the country, thereby improving flight safety.
The experience of Kazakhstan in integrating data on the zoning of aerodrome security areas into urban planning and GIS applications has aroused great interest among the international audience. The presentation was highly appreciated by experts, and the AAK approach was recognized as an example of a successful combination of modern technology and regulations.
