Kazakh athletes won 13 medals in Kurash competitions

The kurash competitions, part of the 5th World Nomad Games taking place in Astana have concluded. 106 athletes from 27 countries participated in the tournament. Kazakhstani athletes secured 7 medals on the second day of the competition,El.kz cites the press service of the "Center for National and Equestrian Sports”.

Seven Kazakhstani athletes advanced to the semifinals. The medal haul includes 4 silver and 3 bronze medals.

The silver medals were won by: Yernur Suleymenov (60 kg category), Aibek Kazakbayev (66 kg), Tolganay Abeuova (57 kg), and Nurdin Shaymerden (73 kg). The bronze medals were earned by: Marat Nigmatullayev (60 kg), Altynai Nurkhanova (57 kg), and Adilet Akhmetgali (73 kg).
