Kazakh and Qatari militaries agree to cooperate in key areas

The 1st meeting of the joint working group of the defense ministries of Kazakhstan and Qatar was held in Almaty,El.kz reports.
The Kazakh delegation was headed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan Merely Kuchekbayev, the Qatari delegation was headed by the The Qatari delegation was headed by Major (Navy) Jassim Saeed Al- Muhannadi.
The sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and agreed to develop cooperation in the field of military education, science, cybersecurity, sports, as well as the training of special operations forces and flight personnel.
The Joint Working Group was established as part of a military cooperation agreement between the two countries. Its main task is to coordinate the activities and strengthen the interaction of defense departments.
