Kassym-Jomart Tokayev takes part in XVI BRICS Summit in Kazan

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center to participate in the XVI BRICS Summit, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.

A meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin was held at the summit site.

In addition, on the sidelines of the summit, Tokayev held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sis, President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith , President of Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso, and Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh.
