Kassym-Jomart Tokayev meets with Albanian President Bajram Begaj in Akorda

There is a great number of opportunities for cooperation with Albania, which we should study. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said after his meeting with President of Albania Bajram Begaj in Akorda today, El.kz reports.

“This is the first ever visit of the President of Albania to Kazakhstan. This visit is extremely important from the point of view of the development of mutual cooperation. Kazakhstan is very interested in establishing closer relations with your country. We believe that we have opportunities to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and ties in many areas of mutual interest.  It is very symbolic that your visit is taking place just two weeks before our countries will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its establishment “ Tokayev noted.

The President of Albania expressed gratitude to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for the invitation to visit Astana and the hospitality shown

- I am very happy to be in Kazakhstan. Thank you for the invitation. As you said, this visit coincides with the 30th anniversary of our diplomatic relations. This suggests that our political relations are at a good level, and now we have to work even harder, finding opportunities for our economic cooperation.  I invite you to visit Albania”- President of Albania Bajram Begaj  said.
