The ceremony took place at one of the main monuments of the capital, symbolizing the feat of Kazakhstanis who gave their lives on the fronts of the war.
The Head of State honored the memory of the heroes with a minute of silence.
The Presidential Orchestra performed the National Anthem, and a guard of honor marched in front of the attendees.
The participation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the commemorative event emphasizes the continuity of generations and respect for the feat of veterans who played a key role in ensuring peace and independence of the country.
