Kassym-Jomart Tokayev lays flowers at Ata-Beyit memorial complex

The official visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the Kyrgyz Republic began with a visit to Ata-Beyit memorial complex, El.kz cites Aqorda.
The memorial was built to honor the noble sons of the Kyrgyz people who dedicated their lives to serving their homeland, as well as victims of Stalin's repressions.
The name of the memorial complex "Ata Beyit" was proposed by the writer Chingiz Aitmatov.
The Head of State laid flowers at the monument to the victims of the tragic events of 1916, located on the territory of the memorial complex.
