Kassym-Jomart Tokayev holds meeting with Prime Minister

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, El.kz reports citing Akorda.

At this meeting, the Prime Minister presented a report on the current situation in the socio-economic sphere of the country and outlined strategies to stimulate economic growth. In particular, he mentioned the ongoing initiatives to strengthen support for local producers:

It is planned to improve procurement procedures for government agencies, mining companies, and organizations belonging to the quasi-public sector in order to increase the share of Kazakhstani goods and services.

Special attention will be paid to the accelerated development of advanced industrial sectors.

President Tokayev gave a number of instructions on the further direction of socio-economic progress in Kazakhstan.
