Kassym-Jomart Tokayev condoles over death of Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi

The Head of State, on behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and on his own behalf, expressed condolences to the Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iran's first Vice President Mohammad Mokhber and the entire Iranian people in connection with the death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi and members of the government delegation as a result of a helicopter crash in the province of East Azerbaijan.

According to the letter, Ebrahim Raisi is an outstanding statesman who served the interests of the Iranian state, improve the well-being of his people, and maintain stability in the region.

“Kazakhstan will always remember Ebrahim Raisi as a responsible leader, an authoritative politician at the international level, a person who made a significant contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation”, the message reads.
