The Karaganda Technical University named after A. Saginov held a competition Äz Nauryz, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akimat of the Karaganda region.
Student teams presented national traditions, cuisine and costumes of the nations who have been celebrating Nauryz since ancient times. Competitions in national sports were also held.
Students showed the traditions of different peoples: Kazakhs, Turks, Uyghurs, Uzbeks, Azerbaijanis, Tajiks, Georgians, Afghans, etc.
As a result, the Grand Prix was won by the team of the student council of the hostel No. 3. The first place was taken by representatives of the Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management, the second - by the College of Innovative Technologies. The third place went to the team of the Faculty of Innovative Technologies.
All participants were presented with gift certificates from sponsors
