Kamil Akatov was named the new vice minister of science and higher education of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of Kazakh PM.

Kamil Akatov was born in 1991 in Zhambyl region. He graduated from the University of Wollongong (UAE), Kazakh University of Technologies and Business, Astana IT University.

From January 2022 to the present, he held the position of Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Agency for the Development of Innovations Qazinnovations".

Earlier, Dauren Temirbekov was appointed to the post of Vice Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan.
