Jeddah Radio shows interest in establishing ties with Kazakhstan

Ruslan Kospanov, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation visited the Jeddah Radio Complex, where he held a meeting with Ali Ahmed Al-Qasim, Director General and the management of the Complex, El.kz cites MFA.

The Director General of the Complex introduced Ruslan Kospanov to the basic principles of operation of Radio Jeddah, new programs and projects that involve increasing the coverage of radio listeners.

In his turn, the Consul General expressed gratitude to Ali Ahmed Al-Qasim for organizing the meeting and the opportunity to get acquainted with the working process of the radio complex. The Kazakh diplomat also noted the interest in establishing close ties with Radio Jeddah in order to further popularize Kazakh culture among local radio listeners.

In this context, Ruslan Kospanov said that every year in June and July Kazakhstan widely celebrates the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as Dombra Day. He emphasized that informing Saudi radio listeners about Kazakh traditions and customs, culture, and history would make a great contribution to strengthening bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and the Kingdom. In addition, the Kazakh diplomat told the Director General about the measures taken and the reforms carried out by the leadership of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the socio-economic sphere, the purpose of which is to improve the welfare and standard of living of the country’s citizens.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain cooperation by participating in joint events, as well as providing information in advance about memorable events and dates in the Republic of Kazakhstan for possible broadcasting on Radio Jeddah.
