It is necessary to preserve historical, spiritual and sacred objects of our nation - Senator Darkhan Kydyrali
There are many sacred places in Kazakhstan that have become a spiritual landmark of the nation and a stronghold of our people. However, according to Senator Darkhan Kydyrali, despite such a rich historical and archaeological heritage, comprehensive research is not carried out in these territories. In his deputy request, the senator voiced the need to strengthen work in this direction, El.kz reports.
Many historical complexes have been destroyed or greatly modified their original appearance. In Sayram, the abode of once countless of our famous great-grandfathers, there are now abandoned places. At one end of the ancient necropolis, dating back to the VIII-IX centuries, there is a market. It is necessary to preserve sacred objects, such as the necropolises of Ibrahim Ata, Karashash Ana, Kyzyr Hazret, preserved from the ancient city of Isfijab. We also propose to transfer the right to preserve the spiritual monuments of the so-called "city of prophets" - ancient Sayram and Suzak - to the Aziret Sultan Museum-Reserve in Turkestan," the senator said.
Darkhan Kydyrali noted that special attention should be paid to the protection of spiritual monuments in our country, stressing that they are our heritage and history.
"Spiritual places, which form the immunity of the nation to lack of spirituality, should be a school of edification. Only our age-old spiritual traditions will help destructive negative currents. It is necessary to systematize and speed up the process of including historical complexes in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In 2019, the Head of State instructed to make our country a center of ethnographic tourism. Therefore, we believe that it is necessary to return such sacred places to the balance of the state, tighten legislation, build roads and develop infrastructure," the deputy suggested.
