Israel ready to invest in construction of reservoirs in Kazakhstan

Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Nurzhan Nurzhigitov met with a consortium of leading Israeli companies in the field of water resources management, headed by Managing Partner of Value LBH and and Chairman of the Board of Dan Capital  Shimon Ben Hamo,El.kz reports.

The parties discussed the potential for cooperation in various areas of the water industry, including the construction and reconstruction of water facilities and joint training. Israeli businessmen expressed their readiness to take part in the construction and reconstruction of reservoirs in Kazakhstan, including through investments. Also, companies from Israel offered modern forecasting and flood protection systems.

Nurzhan Nurzhigitov proposed to develop a joint program to improve the skills of specialists from Kazakhstan and create a working group for all planned projects.

"We are ready for joint and fruitful work. Israeli companies have extensive experience and modern technologies for high-quality water management. Some companies have been successfully operating in Kazakhstan for a long time. We intend to achieve the most efficient use of water in all sectors, so we look forward to mutually beneficial cooperation," said Nurzhan Nurzhigitov, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation.
