Investments in tourism of Atyrau region reached 6.6 billion tenge

According to the results of the first half of 2024, the volume of investments in the tourism sector of the Atyrau region amounted to 6.6 billion tenge. This is 175% more compared to last year, Elkz reports with reference to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

In the first half of 2023, the volume of investments amounted to 2.4 billion tenge.

"The increase in the volume of investment in tourism in the Atyrau region is an important achievement that demonstrates the prospects of the region and the confidence of investors. We are confident that such growth rates will create new opportunities for the development of tourism infrastructure and attracting more guests," said Nurtas Karipbayev, Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Industry Committee.

It should be noted that the volume of the PKI in the field of tourism includes data on 14 main types of economic activity, such as accommodation and food, art, entertainment and recreation, the activities of libraries, archives, museums, transport, rental and tourism services, sports and recreation.
