Investment roundtable held in Germany
The issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of new technologies, the development of green economy, logistics and transportation, investments, and the implementation of joint projects were discussed during the investment round table on the topic "Business Partner Kazakhstan: Current Business Opportunities for Saar Companies", dedicated to the Day of the Kazakhstan Economy in Saar, El.kz cites invest.gov.kz.
The event was organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Frankfurt am Main together with the Trade and Industry Chamber of the Federal State of Saar.
The event was attended by the leaders of central and local authorities, as well as the leaders of leading companies in Saar, such as HYDAC Technology GmbH, Klaus Faber AG, SHS Foundation, MHA Zentgraf GmbH, and others.
In his welcoming speech, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Germany, Nurlan Onzhanov, noted that the economic cooperation between the two countries is developing successfully and has reached a new level thanks to the systematic work to activate trade, economic, and investment interaction. The Ambassador provided detailed information on the political and socio-economic reforms being carried out within the framework of the Head of State's concept of "New Kazakhstan", as well as the goals and priorities of the Kazakhstani Government in the implementation of the new economic course.
In turn, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Digital Technology, and Energy of Saar, Elena Jorgova-Ramanauskas, emphasized that Kazakhstan is the most important partner of the German economy in Central Asia. In this regard, it is necessary to create conditions that contribute to mutually beneficial cooperation for both sides.
The head of the Delegation of German Economy in Central Asia, Hovsep Voskanyan, shared his experience and information on strengthening investment cooperation and establishing new business contacts for the strategic potential of industrial development, entrepreneurial culture, and opening new directions for business.
The official representative of "National Company "KAZAKH INVEST" JSC in Germany, Saken Olzhabayev, made a presentation on measures of state support for investment projects provided by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, preferences, investment projects, as well as the assistance provided by the national company in accompanying foreign investors.
At the end of the meeting, a discussion was held in a "question-answer" format, during which the participants of the event discussed current issues of cooperation development.
