INTERNATIONAL VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT WAS HELD IN THE TURKESTAN REGION

Turkestan region hosted the international volleyball tournament "Druzhba".

Sports competitions organized by Association of Uzbek Ethnocultural Communities of Turkestan region lasted two days in Sairam district. The prize fund amounted to 500 000 tenge for the first place, the second place - 400 000 tenge, the third place - 300 000 tenge.

Professional players of six teams from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Almaty region, Taraz, as well as Sairam and Kazygurt districts of Turkestan region took part in the international volleyball tournament "Friendship".

In the framework of the international tournament "Friendship", in addition to the winners, the best athletes of the Uzbek ethno-cultural association, who raised the country's prestige in the largest international competitions, were also noted. Athletes have been awarded for their high sports results, and their parents have been awarded for their children's worthy upbringing.

According to the results of the tournament "Burevestnik" team from Almaty region took the honorable I place, and "Karabulak" team from Turkestan region won the II place. And the third place went to "Dynamo" team from Kazygurt district.

In addition, the coaching staff of all teams was marked. They received money prizes and letters of gratitude from the organizers of the tournament.
