International exhibition of Chinese porcelain opened in Almaty

The Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan has opened the international exhibition "Chinese Porcelain: Art Through the Centuries", El.kz reports citing Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition consists of 108 porcelain products and demonstrates the art of Chinese porcelain, its history, style and production. Visitors will be able to see a variety of ornamental patterns, colors and shapes of bowls, vases, and vessels.

This year is marked by the partnership between Kazakhstan and China in the tourism and cultural sectors, declared the Year of Kazakh Tourism in China. The event has become an important cultural event for Almaty and Kazakhstan. The exhibition aims to further promote exchange and cooperation between the two countries in the field of culture and art, as well as to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between peoples within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative
