International conference with participation of world's leading scientists held at University of Almaty
Scientists from all over the world gathered in Almaty to discuss problems and recent achievements in the field of polymer, composite and biocomposite materials, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Satbayev University hosts an international conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Shaikhutdinov E.M. The conference is devoted to the issues of in-depth training of specialists, approbation of the results obtained in the field of synthesis, research and application of composite, nanocomposite, biocomposite and polymer materials, as well as the creation of structures from them.
Rector of Satbayev University Meiram Begentayev opened the conference with a congratulatory speech and thanked the guests for participating in the conference.
"Currently, the need for advanced materials of a new generation in modern technological solutions has led to the development of composites, nano- and biocomposites. "Smart" or "intelligent" composite materials react to various types of external influences and exhibit their properties under optimal conditions. These multifunctional composite materials not only have excellent mechanical properties, but also exhibit an outstanding combination of optical, electrical, thermal, magnetic, and other physicochemical properties. Therefore, the development of composite materials is an important task in various fields of science and technology," said Meiram Begentayev.
The conference was attended by leading scientists from different countries, including Austria, Italy, France, Great Britain, Romania, India, Poland, Qatar and the CIS countries. Plenary reports, lectures by invited scientists on the fundamental and applied areas of composite, nanocomposite, biocomposite and polymer materials were presented.
