Inflation in Kazakhstan decreased to 8.6% in 2024

In 2024, inflation in Kazakhstan amounted to 8.6%, down from 9.8% the previous year, El.kz reports.
According to the minister, the budget deficit for the past year totaled 3.6 trillion tenge, which is equivalent to 2.7% of the country’s GDP.
Kazakhstan’s public debt reached 31.8 trillion tenge, or 23.7% of GDP.
