In Almaty, 26 investors of large projects could not connect to gas supply networks
On behalf of the Head of State, the prosecutor's office of the city of Almaty regularly provides support for investment projects. In the course of periodic meetings within the framework of the front office, it was established that for 1.5 years investors experienced difficulties in connecting to gas supply, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the prosecutor's office of the city of Almaty.
In 2022, the Department of Energy and Water Supply of the city of Almaty carried out the construction of main engineering and transport gas supply networks and facilities for the industrial zone, designed to connect a number of investors. However, the akimat, referring to the fact that the facility was not transferred to the balance sheet of KazTransGas Aimak JSC, rejected requests for connection to gas supply.
After analyzing the situation, the prosecutor's office drew up an act of supervision. As a result of the consideration of this highway, 26 investors were connected, implementing projects worth more than 124 billion tenge, with the creation of 3,314 jobs. Also, the deputy head of the Department was brought to disciplinary responsibility for the violations committed.
