How to get Neo Nomad Visa in Kazakhstan

Neo Nomad Visa is intended for foreign citizens who work remotely and combine work with travel,El.kz reports.

The visa can be extended for up to 1 year on the basis of the applicant's application submitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Required documents for submission:

To obtain a visa, you must provide the following documents:

1. Bank statement for the last 6 months confirming a stable monthly income of over $3,000.

2. Tax return issued by the competent authority of the country of citizenship. 

3. A document confirming the absence of a criminal record issued by the authorized body of the country of citizenship or permanent place of residence.

4. Medical insurance that covers the entire validity period of the visa.

5. Invitation letter (not required for citizens of 48 countries included in the list of economically developed, politically and migrationally stable states, according to Appendix 1).

This visa does not provide for the possibility of employment in Kazakhstan.
