The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has approved a new Master Plan for the development of the city of Shymkent until 2035. The corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As part of the integrated development of one of the largest industrial, commercial and cultural centers of the country, the volume of housing construction will increase, new production zones, a bypass railway line and a station with a capacity of 20 thousand passengers per day will appear.

Much attention will be paid to the modernization of industrial areas. Their area by 2035 is planned to be increased by 5 thousand hectares due to the construction of new industrial zones.

As a result of the measures taken, it is expected that by 2035 there will be more than 1 million jobs in the socio-economic sectors of the city. Also, environmental risk zones will be eliminated, projects of water protection belts and zones of the Badam, Koshkarata, Karasu and Sayramsu rivers will be developed.

A separate paragraph highlights the expansion and modernization of telecommunication networks using the Next Generation Network technology, which will provide residents with a wide range of information and communication services.
