How much does it cost to invite a popular performer to event in Kazakhstan? In recent months, artists’ performance fees have increasingly become a subject of public discussion. In a social media post, one of the members of the “Zhigitter” band stated that some of his fellow performers charge KZT 5 mln for a single performance, while he feels uncomfortable quoting even a KZT 500,000 fee.
The artist’s post, accompanied by the phrase “Everyone has their own price,” attracted considerable attention from social media users.
Among the performers contacted by El.kz, Baglan Abdraimov currently has the lowest performance fee. His fee for one private event is KZT 500,000.
Moldir Mukanova ranks next. The singer stated that she is available to perform at a toy in Astana for KZT 800,000.
Marzhan Arapbayeva charges KZT 1 million for a performance at a private event in Astana.
ACE, a member of the Ninety One group, charges KZT 2 million for performances at private events. The hospitality and technical riders are charged separately.
According to the artist’s price list provided by his manager, 50% of the performance fee must be paid in advance to secure the date. The remaining 50% must be paid one week prior to the event. The artist’s set list consists of five songs.
There are also specific requirements concerning the artist’s travel arrangements. For two people, one business-class and one economy-class ticket on Air Astana must be purchased. The tickets must be refundable.
CIP/VIP airport services must also be provided for two people, along with two hotel rooms at the Sheraton or Hilton Astana and daily allowances of KZT 100,000.
For local transportation, a Mercedes V-Class, Mercedes S-Class Maybach or Lexus LX 600 is required.
The performance fee charged by the well-known duo Zhanbolat and Zhazyra has also changed. Last year, their performance fee averaged approximately KZT 2.5 million.
This year, the artists charge KZT 2 million for performances at events in Almaty and KZT 4 million in other cities. The fee includes travel and accommodation expenses. At private events, the duo typically performs four to five songs.
Another member of Ninety One, ALEM, charges KZT 5 million for performances at private events. The hospitality and technical riders are not included in this amount and are charged separately.

Miras Zhugunusov’s fee for a performance at a private event is also KZT 5 million. The rider is charged separately.
Among the performers contacted, Kairat Nurtas was found to command one of the highest fees. His performance at a private event costs KZT 7 million.
For this fee, the artist performs six songs. Travel and accommodation expenses are included in the performance fee.
A joint performance by Raim and Yerke also comes at a significant cost. The fee charged by the popular duo for a private event is KZT 11 million.
Travel, accommodation and transportation expenses, as well as the fulfilment of other additional requirements, are calculated separately.
According to information obtained by El.kz, the cost of booking popular Kazakhstani performers for private events ranges from KZT 500,000 to KZT 11 million.
At the same time, the performance fee itself may be far from the final cost. If an artist travels from another city, additional expenses may include air tickets, accommodation, transfers, daily allowances and a technical rider. Consequently, the total budget for inviting a celebrity to a toy may substantially exceed the stated performance fee.
