Holding days of Culture of Egypt in Kazakhstan discussed in Cairo

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Kairat Lama Sharif held a meeting with the Minister of Culture of Egypt Dr. Neveen Al-Kilany, El.kz cites MFA.

During the meeting Ambassador Kairat Lama Sharif, to further develop cultural cooperation between the two countries, handed over a letter by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Neveen Al-Kilany about holding the Days of Culture of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the city of Astana from June 3 to 7, 2024.

During the conversation, the Ambassador noted that in June 2023, the Days of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan were successfully held in the city of Cairo to celebrate the 800th Anniversary of the famous ruler Sultan Al-Zahir Baybars. He also expressed sincere gratitude to Nevin Al-Kilany, the Minister of Culture of Egypt, for her contribution to the arrangement at a high level of the Gala Concert of Masters of Arts of Kazakhstan at the Cairo Opera House.

In addition, the Kazakh diplomat also shared views on perspectives of the development of relations in the field of culture between the two countries and made several specific proposals for its further expansion.

In turn, Nevin Al-Kilany announced her readiness to hold Egyptian Cultural Days from June 3-7, 2024 in Astana and to practically implement joint activities aimed at further strengthening cultural cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue an ongoing dialogue to further develop cultural and humanitarian relations between Kazakhstan and Egypt.
