Head of State receives Kazakh Minister of Tourism and Sports Yermek Marzhikpayev

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev heard a report on on the preparations for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics. The President was informed about the results of Kazakh athletes’ participation in the qualification events, El.kz reports.

According to the minister, the national team of Kazakhstan received 92 licenses in 25 sports. The honor of the country in Paris will be defended by 80 athletes.

Yermek Marzhikpayev spoke about the pre-Olympic training camp of the national team and measures to support athletes. He also reported on the work to improve sports management institutions.

The Head of State noted that the Olympic Games impose great responsibility on athletes, and stressed that the national team of Kazakhstan should become an example of culture and high  professionalism.
