Head of State receives Chairman of Supreme Audit Chamber

The Head of State received Chairman of the Supreme Audit Chamber Nataliya Godunova, El.kz reports citing Akorda.

The President heard a report on the work of the Supreme Audit Chamber for 2023 and plans for the coming period.

According to Nataliya Godunova, a total of 20 audit activities were carried out at 208 facilities covering about 19.5 trillion tenge of budget funds during the reporting period.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was also informed about the results of certain audit activities completed in the 4th quarter of last year.

At the end of the meeting, the Head of State gave a number of specific instructions to further improve the efficiency of the execution of state resources, as well as to implement the new powers of the Supreme Audit Chamber.
