“It is necessary to encourage citizens who contribute to the strengthening of harmony in our land. I propose to establish two prizes of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. The first is for the best works in the field of literature and journalism. The second is for the best works in the field of culture and art. It is important that these awards can be received by both individual authors and creative teams.
At the same time, the amount of monetary remuneration should be at least not less than the state bonus. Moreover, it is necessary to approve a new state award - the Order of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan "For fruitful work in the name of strengthening the unity of the nation". These awards can be presented to the first laureates by the Republic Day in October this year. I am confident that the recognition at the state level of the contribution of our citizens to the preservation of peace and harmony in the country will give a powerful creative impetus to the strengthening of national unity. In general, I believe that we need to think about further improving the heraldic symbols of the country. It should be close and understandable to citizens, comply with the best world practices and reflect the unique identity of our people," the President said.
