Head of State meets with Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE

During the International Forum in Astana, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, held a meeting with the Minister of Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates Suhail Al Mazrouei,El.kz reports citing the press service of Aqorda.
Suhail Al Mazrouei highly appreciated the organization of the Astana International Forum and thanked for the warm welcome.
The interlocutors discussed ways to practically implement the agreements reached at the highest level, including the initiative to increase bilateral trade turnover to 1 billion dollars.
As the minister reported, the Emirati side has already actively begun to fulfill the agreements signed during the visit of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi to Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, current issues of cooperation in the energy sector, agro-industrial complex, and transportation were also considered.
